YouTube
FreeYouTube is Google's video-sharing and streaming app for watching, uploading and subscribing to channels.
About YouTube
YouTube is Google's video platform and the official app for Android and iPhone. You can watch videos, follow channels, comment, build playlists and upload your own clips or Shorts. Recommendations, search and subscriptions help you find what to watch.
The app is among the most installed in the world: Google Play shows more than 10 billion downloads, and the App Store shows nearly 50 million ratings. It is free to use with ads, and the store listings show in-app purchases. Paid YouTube Premium removes ads and adds background play and downloads, according to Google's long-standing offering.
It suits almost anyone, from casual viewers to creators. You can watch without signing in, but an account is needed to subscribe, comment, save playlists or upload. The input data lists only Android and iOS for this directory, so desktop users use the website. App Store release notes are a generic line, so there is little detail on what changes with each update.
Premium is worth a look if you watch daily and dislike ads. Otherwise the free app is complete for viewing.
