LibreWolf
FreeIndependent Firefox fork that ships with hardened privacy settings, uBlock Origin and telemetry removed.
About LibreWolf
LibreWolf is a community-maintained version of Firefox with a focus on privacy, security and user freedom. It is available for Windows, macOS and Linux and is distributed through its own website and package channels.
The project removes telemetry and other data collection from Firefox, enables stricter privacy and anti-fingerprinting settings by default, and includes the uBlock Origin content blocker. It also turns off several features that connect to outside services. Because it follows Firefox releases closely, it receives the same security updates, with a short delay.
It suits users who like Firefox but want stronger default privacy without adjusting dozens of settings by hand. LibreWolf is free and open source under the MPL-2.0 licence. The strict defaults can break some sites, such as ones that depend on certain cookies or on WebGL, and settings sync with a Firefox account is not supported by default. There is no mobile version, and the project is run by volunteers rather than a company with a support team.
Expect to relax a setting or two for sites that break under the strict defaults. Check the project FAQ before enabling sync.
