Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action role-playing game. You explore the fantasy world of Teyvat, climb and glide across large regions, fight with elemental abilities and follow a story told through quests and events.
Combat revolves around swapping between characters in a party and combining their elemental powers. New characters, story chapters, weapons and events arrive with regular version updates; the current iOS notes describe Version 7.1 with two new characters, new Archon Quests and new events. Co-op play with friends is available in many parts of the game.
