Foxit PDF Reader
FreeA PDF reader from Foxit for viewing, annotating and signing documents, with a lighter footprint than some rivals.
About Foxit PDF Reader
Foxit PDF Reader is a PDF viewer from Foxit Software. It opens, prints and annotates PDF files, fills in forms and supports digital signatures. It is often chosen as an alternative to Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The Windows package describes it as an industry-leading reader, and the Google Play and App Store listings are for Foxit PDF Editor on mobile. Foxit's mobile apps cover viewing and editing with in-app purchases, and the recent iOS release adds an Intune app configuration setting for administrators.
The reader is free to download for viewing and commenting, while editing and some business features need a paid Foxit subscription. We do not quote prices here. It suits people who want a quick reader with commenting tools and teams that value its enterprise management options. Mobile ratings are lower than leading rivals, at 3.9 on Google Play. Check installer options for bundled offers. Compare it with Adobe Acrobat Reader if you are choosing a default viewer, since both are free for everyday reading and signing tasks.
Choose the reader, not the editor, if all you need is viewing. The mobile store apps are branded as PDF Editor.
