Files by Google
FreeGoogle's free Android file manager that helps clear junk, find files and share them offline.
About Files by Google
Files by Google is a file manager for Android phones and tablets. It shows what is using storage, suggests files and apps to remove, and lets you browse folders, search and manage downloads.
The app also supports offline sharing between nearby devices through its Nearby Share style transfers, and offers backup suggestions to cloud storage. The Google Play listing shows no ads and no in-app purchases, and the app has a rating of 4.5 across more than nine million reviews.
Files suits anyone who wants a simple, clean way to tidy storage and move files around on Android without extra clutter. Many devices already ship with it preinstalled, so you may already have it.
The app is free to use. Some features, such as cloud backup suggestions, rely on a Google account, and offline transfers need a nearby compatible device. It is a sensible option on phones with a cluttered default file manager, and it keeps the interface focused on storage, browsing and sharing rather than extras.
Review cleanup suggestions before confirming deletion, since the app will recommend removing files you may still want.
