Adobe Acrobat Reader
FreeAdobe's free PDF reader for viewing, printing, signing and commenting on PDF documents.
About Adobe Acrobat Reader
Adobe Acrobat Reader is Adobe's free application for opening PDF files. It lets you view, print, sign and comment on documents, and it is widely used as the standard reader for PDFs on Windows, Mac and mobile.
The Google Play description highlights newer features such as shared PDF Spaces and AI-generated audio summaries of documents. You can fill in forms, add comments and highlights, and sign documents on screen. Many of the advanced editing, conversion and AI features need a paid Acrobat subscription.
The reader is free to download, and the Google Play listing shows in-app purchases and ads. We do not quote prices here. It suits anyone who needs a reliable viewer, especially for forms and signing. Lighter PDF readers may open large files faster if you only need to read, and the app can nudge users towards paid upgrades. An Adobe account is optional for basic reading but needed for some cloud features.
During installation, watch for bundled offers. A lighter reader is fine if you only read PDFs.
